Description: The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of design activities intended to obtain regulatory approval for new and revised medical devices for the Japanese market. Ensure compliance to Japanese requirements and corporate policies regarding submissions for market release of medical devices.
Qualifications:
-5 + years of product design experience in the medical device industry.
-Detailed knowledge of design controls with in a regulated industry.
-Experience in PMDA/FDA regulatory requirements preferred.
-Candidate should demonstrate: strong interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills, and initiative, self-starter.
-Experience with a parametric CAD design package. PRO E preferred.
-Fluency in Japanese a strong plus.
Education:
-Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
